Boots Boots was just a kitten when her back paws were cut off. Luckily she arrived at an animal shelter and Life is Better Rescue asked OrthoPets to help her by making prosthetic “house slippers.” A week later, she could stand but she still has trouble with stairs. The “house slippers” are just temporary but when she’s grown she’ll have permanent prostheses. She’ll also need physical therapy.
